Natalie B. Johnson, 87

Seminole, Fla. — Natalie B. (Francis) Johnson, 87, of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Rockport, wife of the late, Frank W. Johnson, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013.

She was born in Gloucester on July 19, 1925, daughter of the late, Louis and Sarah (Ford) Francis. Natalie graduated from Gloucester High School. Natalie spent many summer days with her four sons at Front Beach in Rockport. She also worked at the Sea Shell Restaurant for years and hosted numerous 4th of July "lobster" cookouts with her husband, Frank. She will be fondly remembered as a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by sons, Bruce Johnson and his wife, Lynne of Rockport, Dana Johnson of Dunedin, Fla. and Donald Johnson of Lowell; grandchildren, Frank Johnson and his wife, Susan of Pawleys Island, S.C., Craig Johnson and his wife, Gayle of Rockport, Natalie E. Johnson of New York City, Meghan Daulton and her husband, Daryl of The Woodlands, Texas, Cara Johnson and her husband, Michael Wynn of Salem, Molly Johnson and her husband, Tim Marques of Gloucester and Brian Johnson of New York City; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Olivia and Eli Johnson, Alexandra and Luke Johnson, Drew and Jack Daulton and Dexter Wynn. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Bergeron and her husband, Robert of New Hampshire; her brother, Louis Francis of California; her sister-in- law, Barbara (Quinn) Francis of Seminole, Fla. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Rick Johnson of Rockport; her brother, Ralph Francis of Seminole, Fla. and her friend, Norman “Bud” Rowe.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private graveside service will be held in Beech Grove Cemetery, Rockport. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, it was Natalie’s desire that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 in memory of her son Richard Johnson.
