Manchester by the Sea — Mrs. Joanne M. Corliss, 75 died peacefully Friday, July 6, 2012 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA.
Joanne grew up in Manchester by-the-sea, MA and was known for her love of family and her many life long friendships.
Joanne is predeceased in death by her parents, James J. and Irene (Flaherty) Mulvey, Jr.
Joanne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Patrick Corliss of Manchester by-the-sea, MA and their two children, Marianne Corliss of Manchester by-the-sea, MA and Thomas Patrick Corliss, Jr. and his wife Gail of Danvers, MA, four grandchildren, Christina Francis Cantore of Providence, RI, Loren Joseph Cantore of Keene, NH, Thomas Patrick Corliss, III and Heather Anne Corliss both of Danvers, MA. She also leaves a brother, James J. Mulvey, III of Manchester by-the-sea, MA, his four children, a sister, Mary Irene (Mulvey) Bingham and her husband James of Naples, FL and their two children, a beloved Aunt, Irene R. Mulvey of Manchester by-the-sea, MA, as well as two nephews, all of whom will miss Joanne very much.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 62 School St., Manchester by-the-sea, MA on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no visiting hours and burial will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell - Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made in Joanne’s memory to The Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
