Richard (Rick) Reed, 65

Richard Reed, 65, formerly of Essex, died Friday, April 27, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada of complications for the treatment of cancer. He was the husband of Ramona Reed. In addition to his wife, he leaves family of Frances Curry (mother) of Rowley, Sean (son) Reed of Essex, Marcia (Reed) Livingston (sister) of Gloucester, Eugene Reed (brother) of Nottingham, NH, and 6 grandchildren.

Born in Gloucester on June 17, 1946, he was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1964.

Rick was employed as a security investigator for Ceasers Palace in Las Vegas for over 20 years. He was active member of Carol Coleman Senior Center where he enjoyed the company of fellow table pool players.
