Frank B. Michon, 62, died unexpectedly Monday, May 7, 2012. Born in Ipswich on November 6, 1949, he was the son of Wilbur F. Michon and the late Virginia A. (Sienkiewicz) Michon.
Frank was raised and educated in Ipswich and was a graduate of Ipswich High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Air Force. Frank had his own painting business in the Ipswich area for many years. Frank was also a clammer and often dug clams with his son Michael. He was a devoted father to his son.
Frank is survived by his father Wilbur F. Michon and his wife Charlotte of Gloucester, his sister Judi Doberman of Gloucester and her daughter Shaina Doberman of Salem. He is also survived by his aunt Mildred Putur of Ipswich, several cousins and his dear friend Elaine. Frank was predeceased by his son Michael A. Michon, formerly of Ipswich, on April 28, 2004. He was also predeceased by his brother Kenneth P. Michon, formerly of Gloucester.
