Gloucester, MA — Jennie (Orlando) Favazza, 90, wife of the late Frank P. Favazza, of Gloucester, formerly of McPherson Park, died on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Gloucester, MA on September 16, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Randazza) Orlando.
Mrs. Favazza attended St. Ann’s School.
She enjoyed bingo and was a champion bowler at the Cape Ann Bowling Center for 7 years.
She will be greatly missed by her family
Mrs. Favazza is survived by 2 sons, Peter S. Favazza and his wife Ann of Gloucester, Michael J. Favazza and his wife Linda of Methuen; 6 grandchildren, Peter S. Favazza Jr., Michael Favazza, Danielle Favazza, Noelle Favazza, Ryan Favazza, Joanne (Nicastro) Kottman of CA; her uncle, Sophie Randazza of Gloucester and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Sarah Nicastro; son-in-law, James Nicastro; granddaughter, Michelle Favazza; sister, Nina Frontiero and her uncle, Ambrose Randazza.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Wednesday, June 20, at 10:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish, at 11 am. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
The burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
The visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home on Tuesday 4 – 8 pm.
