Gloucester — Michelle Kay (Simoneau) McNutt, 53, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 of cancer. She was the wife of Scott McNutt.
She was born in Claremont, N.H. on January 25, 1959. Michelle was a life time resident of Gloucester and the beloved daughter of Betty Spoon. Michelle was a bright light, a devoted daughter, mother, wife, and grandmother. She was also a loving sister, aunt, and friend.
She had a sweet, open spirit who lived boldly and full of love. Her greatest joy came from bringing together and caring for her loving family and grandchildren, who will all cherish her memory. She was crafty and enjoyed attending to her yard and sharing secrets to plants and flowers, as she had a green thumb. She enjoyed lovingly teasing us with her witty sense of humor and her crazy ways.
Shelly had a distinctive laugh and a wonderful smile. Those who were fortunate to know her often referred to her as being one of the sweetest people they ever met. She will be missed by many.
Michelle is survived by sons, Vito Aiello Jr. and Matthew Aiello and wife, Jennifer Aiello; daughter, Meaghan McNutt; five grandchildren, Devin Aiello, Madelynne Aiello, Cody Aiello Bethune, Isabella Aiello and Sadie Aiello; eight siblings, Dorothy Jefferies and husband Dale, Arthur Emerzian Jr., Sharon Cloutier, Betty Ellis and husband, Doug, Raymond Simoneau, Lisa Simoneau, David Simoneau, Robert Spoon and wife Elizabeth and her godson, Christopher Spoon.
