Gloucester — Michelle Kay (Simoneau) McNutt, 53, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 of cancer. She was the wife of Scott McNutt.

She had a sweet, open spirit who lived boldly and full of love. Her greatest joy came from bringing together and caring for her loving family and grandchildren, who will all cherish her memory. She enjoyed lovingly teasing us with her witty sense of humor and her crazy ways.

Shelly had a distinctive laugh and a wonderful smile. Those who were fortunate to know her often referred to her as being one of the sweetest people they ever met. She will be missed by many.
