Danvers MA — Rita E. (Doyle) Manoogian, a resident of Danvers, died peacefully on July 27, 2012, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was 85 years of age.
Born in Lynn, MA, in 1927 she was the daughter of John and Alice (White) Doyle.
Rita graduated from St. Mary’s school in Lynn and later was employed in the Insurance business as a claims adjuster.
Mrs. Manoogian enjoyed reading, following all the local sports teams, spending time with her family and following all of her grandchildren’s events. She was a communicant of both St. Mary and St. Richard Parishes in Danvers.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Manoogian.
Rita leaves her children, Janet Trefry and her husband Keith W. of Gloucester, Anne Marie Gesualdi and her husband Stephen J. of Danvers, Stephen A. Manoogian of NY, Michael M. Manoogian and his wife Lori of Peabody and John J. Manoogian and his wife Doreen of New York. Also leaving her siblings, Eleanor Immar of Rockland, Anna Dart of California, Margaret Kane and Joan Magner, both of Lynn; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Sunday in the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., Danvers, from 4 to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Rita on Monday at 9 am in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Danvers. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
