Rockport — Marlene Tedesco,77, nee Marlene Francis Reyher of Rockport, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, peacefully in her sleep in San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
She was born in Waterbury, Conn., on April 18, 1935 to Mary and Frederick Reyher, was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and a long time parishioner of St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Waterbury, Conn.
Tremendously devoted to her Catholic faith, with unwavering commitment, Marlene gave love, guidance, and support with great selflessness and strength to her family and friends as well as to all who had the good fortune to know her.
Marlene is predeceased by adoring son, Thomas Jude Tedesco of Rockport, and survived by devoted husband of 56 years, Angelo Tedesco of Rockport and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; loving children, Lisa Tedesco Manning of Waterbury, Conn., Karen Tedesco and Marcy Seckler of Long Island City, N.Y., Martha Marie Magee and husband, David Magee of Gloucester, Mia Eileen Breau and husband, Derek Breau of Daniel Island, S.C., Nancy Tedesco of Rockport; beloved grandchildren, Rachel Cheverette and husband, Nick Chevette of Pawtucket, R.I., Thomas Walter Tedesco, John Francis Tedesco and Michael Joseph Tedesco all of Rockport, Zachary David Magee, Anita Catherine Magee and Gabriel Robert Magee all of Gloucester, Liam Reyher Breau and Aidan Francis Breau of Daniel Island, S.C. and brother, Fredrick Reyher and family.
Marlene Tedesco will be forever remembered and honored by her loving family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral mass will bw held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, 11 a.m., St. Joachim Catholic Church, 9 Broadway Avenue, Rockport.
