Wilmington, N.C, — Robert C. Perry, always known as Chris, unexpectedly passed away on March 14, 2013 at his home. He had moved to North Carolina 6-7 years ago and prior to that had lived on Cape Ann for many years.
Born in Concord, on February 28, 1967, Chris grew up in Acton, where his family owned Acton Florist and Nursery. While in Acton, Chris attended Acton-Boxborough High School and after the family moved to Rockport, he attended Rockport High School. Chris followed his father and brother into the tree/landscaping business and up until moving to North Carolina, operated Perry Tree and Landscaping out of Gloucester. After moving and settling in North Carolina, he started his own business, Chris Perry Tree and Landscaping which he operated up until his passing. Chris had a love of the ocean and from a very young age owned a boat. He could usually be found boating during his free time. He is survived by his father, Robert L. Perry, of Rockport and his brother, John B. Perry and his wife, Jennifer, of Gloucester. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy (Bowlby) Perry. He leaves behind many uncles, cousins,etc and many close friends in the Cape Ann area, whom he still kept in touch with.
