Gloucester, MA — Connie Giamanco, 70, of Gloucester, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Den Mar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockport.
She was born in Gloucester on January 4, 1943, daughter of the late Rosario and Lena (Mione) Giamanco.
Connie loved to knit and was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed spending time at the senior center. Her smile touched everyone she met along the way. She was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Joe Giamanco and wife, Linda; nieces, including special niece, Donna Brien; nephews, Mike Brien, Ray and Jody Brien; and great-nephews, Chris Brien, and Louis and Michael Brien, Jr.
She was predeceased by her sister, Susan (Giamanco) Brien.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery followed by a reception in St. Ann’s Church Hall.
