Dorothy May (Lee) Teceno, aged 78 years, lifelong resident of Middleboro, died on Tuesday, May 08, 2012, at her home, after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C Teceno, who predeceased her in June of 2010. Born in Middleboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes M (Cameron) Lee. Dorothy had worked for many years at Winthrop Atkins, Middleboro, and had also worked in the cafeteria for the Middleboro Public School System. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. Survivors include three sons, Karl and his wife Denise Teceno of Portland, ME, John and his wife Dianne Teceno of Middleboro, Peter and his wife Jennie Teceno of Middleboro, a daughter, Beth and her husband Jon Lafata of Gloucester, MA, 9 grandchildren, Haakon, Erin, Logan, Kyle, Nathan, Trina, Emma, Rachel, and Connor, 3 great-grandchildren, Hakon, Wryley, and Bella. She was grandmother of the late Joshua Teceno.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 10th from 2-4 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, with a service to follow at 4 pm. Burial will take place in Titicut Parish Cemetery, North Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to: the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St Framingham, MA 01701, would be appreciated.
