Michael John “Mike” Pulliam, 25, of Roanoke, died suddenly Sunday, April 15, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mike was born April 8, 1987 in Arlington, Virginia and lived in Roanoke since 2005. He was the son of Michael W. Pulliam and Patricia M. Cronin Pulliam.
Mike was employed by Dynex as a machinist and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Mike was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Lt. John J. Cronin and Gertrude E. Cronin. In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Laurin and Blake McCord of August, Georgia; his loving nephew Connor; Aunt MaryAnn Cronin-Tretter and Uncle Horst Tretter of Gloucester, MA and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Michael J. Pulliam Memorial Fund at any branch of US Bank or send contributions to Michael J. Pulliam Memorial Fund, C/O 5364 Angel Falls, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service celebrating his life will be Thursday, 2:00 PM at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.
