Gloucester, Mass. — Frederick Kimball Loomis III passed away August 16, 2013 in Gloucester, Mass.. He was 49 years old.
He was born in Springfield, Mass. on February 16, 1964. The family moved from Rockport, Mass., to Bethlehem, Penn., in 1976. Shortly after graduating from Freedom High School in 1982, Kim returned Massachusetts. At the time of his passing, Kimball was a lobsterman on the boat Net Profit out of Gloucester.
He is survived by parents, Frederick Kimball “Rick” Loomis, Jr. and Rita R. Loomis of Nazareth, Penn.; sister Bonnie Loomis-Koch, wife of Steven Koch of Lower Nazareth, Penn., along with nephews, Dakota and Mason Koch, niece Kara Koch, aunts and uncles David and Judy Loomis of Williamstown, Mass.; Barbara and Peter Zelechoski of Raleigh, N.C., and Denise Kladis of Cape Charles, Va.
Kimball loved to cook, loved music and was a talented bass guitarist with several bands in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He was a successful Web DJ with followers both here and abroad. Kimball was a kind and loving person with a great sense of humor who loved life and truly enjoyed being among his many friends.
