East Hampstead, NH — Sandra L. (Skillen) Kentel, 67, wife of John P. Kentel of East Hampstead, N.H., formerly of Gloucester, passed away on Friday morning, November 8, 2013, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H., following a brief illness.
She was born and raised in Gloucester, and was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1964, and later from the Chandler Business School in Boston, Class of 1965.
Sandy was employed as a secretary for her husband’s company, Kentel Corporation.
She had a love for horses, the ocean, especially Gloucester’s backshore and Boulevard.
Sandy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John P. Kentel of East Hampstead; her daughter, Lisa Lane of Salem, Mass.; her sons, Jody Lane and his wife, Trisha, of Merrimac, Mass., Scott Kentel and his wife, Julie, of Lawrence, and John Kentel III of California; seven grandchildren, Travis and Ruby Lane, Joshua and Maxwell Kentel, Adam, Alex, and Andy Kentel; her stepsisters and stepbrothers, Sandra Ciaramitaro and her husband, Michael, Doris Engle, Carrie-Lou Moore, Linda Horton and her husband, Barry, Susan Smith, John “Butch” Sylvia and his wife, Regina, Mary Ellen Michitson, Kandy Thompson, John “Jay” Thompson, Kevin Thompson, and Walter Thompson and Jordan Thompson; her aunt, Sally Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services.
