Sally B. Lockwood, 97

Gloucester — Sally B. (Joseph) Lockwood, 97, wife of the late Franklin W. Lockwood, of Gloucester, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Addison Gilbert Hospital.

Born in Gloucester on May 23, 1915, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Lattof) Joseph.

Sally had attended St. Ann’s School. She was an accomplished knitter and had made all types of clothing for her family throughout her life. She was an avid reader and loved to go shopping with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Rodgers of Salem; her grandson, Richard Rodgers of Salem; her brothers and sisters, Marion Sargent of Gloucester, George “Sookie” Joseph of Rockport, Yvonne Cogan of Gloucester, J. Jonathan Joseph of California; and many nieces and nephews, including nephew Steven.

In addition to her husband Franklin, she was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Louise Tobin; five brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Larry Sargent and sister-in-law, Peggy Joseph.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday, October 17 at 10 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
