Born on May 6, 1927 in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Helen A. (Drohan) Wise. Norma spent her childhood in Lynn, Swampscott and Georgetown before her family returned to their roots in Gloucester where she graduated from Gloucester High School in 1945. Her proudest achievement was graduating as a Registered Nurse in the last class of the Addison Gilbert Hospital School of Nursing in 1948, followed by a fulfilling career as a nurse supervisor. She was an active member of the Addison Gilbert Alumnae Association for many years. After many years working at local blood banks, she was appointed an American Red Cross Nurse in 1968.Continued ...
