South Pasadena, Fla. — Margherita Trupiano, 83, of South Pasadena, Fla., formerly of Gloucester, wife of the late Capt. Antonino Trupiano, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 17, 2012 in South Pasadena, Fla.
She was born in Favignana, Sicily, Italy on March 17, 1929, daughter of the late Pietro and Francesca (Ernandes) Ferrante. Margaret enjoyed working at the Addison Gilbert Hospital for many years prior to retiring in Florida.
She is survived by three daughters, Ninfa Maria Trupiano of Gloucester, Frances Drohan and her husband, Michael of Rockport, and Josephine Trupiano of Manchester, N.H.; one son, Antonino Trupiano Jr. and his wife, April Nettles of New York, N.Y.; two grandaughters, Christin McLaughlin and her husband, Greg of Randolph, and Melissa Busfield of Los Angeles; two grandsons, Antonino James “AJ” Hunter and Pietro Antonino “Pete” Trupiano; one great-grandaughter, Stella Kinsley McLaughlin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester on Monday, December 24, at 7:45 a.m. followed by a mass in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish at 8:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
