Miami, FL — Eleanor J. (Carlson) Wright, 92, wife of the late Charles J. Wright, of Miami, FL, passed away on Friday morning, June 22, 2012 in Gloucester.
Born in Dorchester on November 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Jennie (Gustafson) Carlson. Eleanor attended school in Dorchester and lived most of her life in Miami with Charles. Throughout her life, she was a very active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her brother Richard Carlson and wife Marie of Marlborough, MA; devoted nieces, Katherine Nicastro and husband John of Gloucester, Tina Sullivan and husband Bob of Arizona and Madeline Caldarone and husband Nick of Connecticut.
In addition to her husband Charles, she was predeceased by her sisters Lillian Gianetti, Dorothy Wilson; and her brothers Robert and Harold Carlson.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her services will be held privately with her family.
