Salem — Mr. Salvatore A. Sansone, 66, of Salem, husband of Ruth Lohmeyer, died unexpectedly, June 21, 2013.
Born in Pittsburgh, Penn., he was the son of the late Anthony and Theresa Sansone. He was raised and educated in Pittsburgh, and was a graduate of Pittsburgh Barber School.
A talented and well-known musician, Sal played the electric bass guitar. He was also a vocalist and very well-known through music circles for his dedication, passion and talent.
A 20-year resident of the city of Salem, Sal had previously resided in Magnolia, where he raised his family. He loved keeping in touch with his friends and family through social media, especially Facebook.
Sal is survived by his wife, Ruth Lohmeyer; his daughters, Christinia Sansone of Haverhill, and Toni Sansone of Beverly; his sister, Marleen Bodnar of McKeesport, Penn.; Anthony Sansone of Pittsburgh, Penn.; and several nieces and nephews.
