John Bilodeau, 71

Floral City, Fla. — John Joseph Bilodeau, age 71, died February 3, 2013, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. John was born on November 30, 1941, in Salem, to the late Emile and Rose (Cormier) Bilodeau. He served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard. John was an electronics engineer and designer. He was an avid amateur radio operator with the call sign W1GAN. He was Catholic by faith.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years, Letitia Bilodeau; his son Paul and his wife, Kelly, of Swampscott; daughter Michelle O'Nei, and her husband, Shawn, of Peabody; his brother Stephen and his wife, Madeline (Paddy), of Rotunda West, Fla.; stepdaughter Marilyn Johnson of North Carolina; grandchildren Carter, Morgan and Shawnna. He is also survived by his aunt, Theresa Rhodes of Newburyport. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Bilodeau, and his stepson, Willard Maker.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial Mass will be held at St. James Parish Chapel, 156 Federal St., Salem, on Thursday, February 21, at 12:05 p.m.

    Rockport, MA — Norma Frances (Wise) Greel, of Rockport, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2014. She was the devoted wife for 64 years of Richard B. Greel. Born on May 6, 1927 in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Helen A. (Drohan) Wise. Norma spent her childhood in Lynn, Swampscott and Georgetown before her family returned to their roots in Gloucester where she graduated from Gloucester High School in 1945. Her proudest achievement was graduating as a Registered Nurse in the last class of the Addison Gilbert Hospital School of Nursing in 1948, followed by a fulfilling career as a nurse supervisor. She was an active member of the Addison Gilbert Alumnae Association for many years. After many years working at local blood banks, she was appointed an American Red Cross Nurse in 1968.

During his last few years, he was expertly cared for by Mrs. Karen O'Donnell, for which his family is very grateful. Stanley was an avid golfer and runner, and had completed the Boston Marathon. He was also a musician and artist. He is survived by his brother, David Landergren and sister, Nancy Silvis; his nieces, Jessica and Kimberly Silvis and nephew, Geoffrey Silvis; his aunts, Barbara (wife of John Bishop) and Francis Grier; his uncle, Charles S. Neal and numerous cousins.
