Lillian S. Catalini, 90


Gloucester — Lillian S. (Sears) Catalini, 90, of Gloucester, wife of the late, Geno Joseph Catalini, passed away on the afternoon of February 14, 2013 in the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester. She was born in Gloucester, on August 15, 1922, the daughter of Joseph F. and Olivia (Muniz) Sears.

She enjoyed cooking dinners and having her family around her all year round. Lillian had traveled quite extensively throughout the United States with her family. A quiet lady, she enjoyed her time reading a good book, or learning about something educational. She will be lovingly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Regina C. Klimowitz of Gloucester; sister, Pearl Goldthwaite of Haverhill; grandchildren, Mary Alice Epler and her husband, Scott of Maine, Joseph P. Forest of Beverly; a nephew, Joseph Muniz and his wife, Laura of California; nieces, Gail Goldthwaite of Gloucester, Nadine Kliber of Salem; very close friend, Sharon Miller, of Danvers, who was more like a daughter to her, and Sharon's daughter, Nicole Miller, who was like a granddaughter to her as well. She also leaves many grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Amero, Eleanor Lopes and Evelyn Muniz.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester, on Tuesday, February 19, at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 18, from 6-8 p.m. Her burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
