Marylin Crain, 81


Gloucester, Ma — Marylin "Lynn" passed away with grace at The Kaplan House of Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston on April 26, 2013.

She was born in New York City to Frank and Olga Premezzi. She is survived by her husband, James F. Crain of Gloucester, Mass., and Marco Island, Fla. She was the loving mother of Karen and her husband, Arthur, Susan and her husband, Mark, and Kevin and his wife, Rebecca. She was the sister of Renato and his wife, Nina Premezzi of Florida and Lance and his wife, Lia of New York. She was the caring grandmother of Jared, Ryan, Brendan and Tyler Wimberly, Zoe and Emma Crain, and Michelle and Benjamin Cote; and great-grandmother to Ronan Wimberly.

Lynn’s professional accomplishments included serving as director of the Bedford VA Hospital Drug Rehabilitation Program. She served on the Board of Directors of Family Service of Greater Boston and was a member of the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Committee.
