She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 13, 1930, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Downing) Porter.
Jennie (Thanos) Dumont, 86, died early Monday morning, May 14, 2012 in the Golden Living Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Simon N. Dumont, who died in January 1961.
Barbara Garcia de Castro, age 89, died peacefully at her home in Hamilton, surrounded by loving friends and family. Her joie de vivre and strong will to live a full and independent life allowed her last years with her beloved cats in her own cozy cottage. Her independent lifestyle was supported by her loving caregivers; Gerry Flammia, Patti Neal, and devoted family. She was truly invested in embracing a multi-generational lifestyle in her wiser years. Living more independently allowed her a natural connection to her grandnieces and nephews; Peter, Chris, Samantha, Amy, Gator, Emily, Melli, Madison, and Spencer. She was also visited regularly by her lifelong friend, Dottie Eagleson, to sing their favorite songs and share childhood memories.

Thomas Parker Eldridge, 38, of Nashua, N.H., formerly of Westford, MA, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in New Hampshire.
Born in Boston on May 30, 1973, he was the son of C. Thomas Eldridge and Paula L. (Currier) Eldridge of Rockport.
William Francis Mamede, Jr., passed away suddenly at his home on May 3, 2012. He was born on January 19, 1951. Bill was the youngest man in the tuna fisheries to attain the rating of Chief Engineer, and he fished out of Somora. He attended school in San Diego, CA. Gloucester, MA and Las Vegas, NV. Bill is survived by his mother, Cora Montez Brown, and his uncle, John Sutton of Gloucester, MA. He is also survived by his special cousins, Jim Lobel of San Diego and Margaret York of Gloucester, Ma. In addition he is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces along with many friends. Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Marlo Mamede, who was lost at sea, his father, William F. Mamede of San Diego, CA. and his stepfather. Ralph K. Brown of Gloucester, MA.
