Lynnfield — Mrs. Patricia A. Lynch, age 83 years, of Lynnfield, formerly of Lynn and Rockport, died peacefully Saturday, at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late A. James Lynch, who recently passed in January, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Robert K. Newhall and Bernice L. (Richard) Ash. She resided in Lynn and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1946. She was employed as a manager at the General Electric, which is where she met her husband Jimmy. A devoted mother Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her camp on Lake Sunapee, and at her home in Rockport, where she loved to entertain. She also enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and her trips to Foxwoods.
She is survived by one son Thomas J. Lynch of Lynn, two daughters, Maura Lynch and her partner Pamela Adams of Lynnfield and Karen Lang of Lynnfield; two grandchildren Max and Grant Lang of Lynnfield; two brother-in-laws, Owen and his wife, Ann, of Lynnfield, Edward and his wife, Elizabeth Cullinan of Lynn, one sister-in-law, Marie Wall and her husband, John, of Marblehead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was also stepdaughter of the late Hedley M. Ash.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services from the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St., Lynn, on Friday at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield at 11:00 AM, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
