Worcester, MA — Dr. Richard Harris Angoff, age 64, passed away on February 20th, 2013 surrounded by his family.
Richard, better known as "Dickie" is survived by his wife of 37 years, Christine; daughters Rachel and Rebecca; sons Andrew, Matthew, Michael, and Joshua; son-in law Paul Mandina and grandsons Jameson and Julian. He is also survived by his mother, Ruth Angoff; sisters Amy Kaplan (wife of Martin Kaplan) and Sally Gladstone (wife of Dr. Gerald Gladstone), as well as a niece, nephews, many relatives and friends. Richard was a loving husband, fantastic father and a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Angoff and his father Samuel Angoff.
Richard graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors from Georgetown Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Rhode Island Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. Richard loved his family, watching his children play sports, his patients and practicing medicine. He enjoyed spending his time in Narragansett, RI, classical music, watching Seinfeld, The Three Stooges and eating bread.
