Gloucester, MA — Nina M. (Ciaramitaro) Randazza, 87, wife of the late Joseph T. Randazza, of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday evening, August 25, 2013, surrounded by her whole family.
Born in Gloucester on April 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Aiello) Ciaramitaro.
Nina had attended St. Ann’s School, and for over 20 years, had worked in the bakery department at Cape Ann Supermarket.
Nina was very strong in her Catholic faith and was a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Church, the Madonna del Rosario Society and the Mother of Grace Club. She was also a member of the Seafood Workers Union.
In her spare time, Nina was an avid reader and also enjoyed reading poetry. Most of all, she was extremely devoted to her family and was happiest when she had everyone together at family gatherings.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Grace Figurido and husband, John; grandchildren, Yvonne LeBlanc and Jaclyn Figurido; great-grandson, Joshua LeBlanc; her sisters, Grace Brancaleone, Mary Barbagello, and Jeannette Lattof and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Joseph, she was predeceased by her son, Salvatore Randazza.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann’s Church on Wednesday, August 28, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
A visiting hour will precede the Mass on Wednesday, from 9 to 10 a.m., in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester.
The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Holy Family Parish, 60 Prospect Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.
