Gloucester — John F. Sullivan, III, 49, of Gloucester, husband of Roselle Randazza, passed away on Monday morning, November 19, 2012 with his loving family at his side, after a year long battle with cancer.John was born in Lynn on September 27, 1963, the son of John F. Sullivan, Jr. and Sharon (Estes) Duyon.
He graduated from Masconomet Regional High School with the class of 1981. John was an avid music enthusiast, enjoying classic rock the most and was a huge fan of Jimi Hendrix. He played bass guitar and loved jamming with his friends. Over the years he had played in a few bands around the area. He never outgrew the music. He loved to travel and went on trips to California, Florida, and Mexico.
Most recently John, Roselle and their children visited New York City and Bermuda. He absolutely adored his children and family and loved spending time with them whenever he could. John worked at Bomco Inc for the past 6 years where he formed many great friendships with his co-workers. He truly will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Roselle; their children, Marina and Brady Sullivan; two brothers, Richard Sullivan of Revere, Joseph Sullivan and his wife, Barbara of Groveland; one sister, Breena Sullivan of Quincy; his mother and father-in-law, Joe and Maria Randazza; sister-in-law, Renee Randazza;, brother-in-law, Thomas Randazza, all of Gloucester; seven nieces and nephews; two step-sisters; two step-brothers, and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his step-father, Joseph Duyon Sr.; maternal grandmother, Rita Goodwin; and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Sullivan.
ARRANGEMENTS: His memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish. Family and friends are cordially invited. There are no visiting hours and burial will be held privately. Kindly omit flowers.
