Gloucester — Richard T. Belle, 82, of Gloucester formerly of Somerville and Lexington, husband of Kirsti Kettunen-Belle, passed away on Sunday evening, December 2, at his residences with his wife by his side.
He was born on October 13, 1930 son of the late Frank and Eva (MacMahon) Belle. He was baptized at the Somerville Community Baptist Church in June of 1940 and became a regular attendee.
Richard worked for 20 years within middle management positions for Bank of Boston, Transportation Freight Payment Division. He was a member of the Boston Baptist Social Union for 50 years.
Richard is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kirsti Kettunen-Belle of Gloucester, and eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Vozzella) Belle of Medford; sisters, Lillian Towers, Thelma Margues, Frances Marchio, Janet Borrelli and a brother, Paul Belle.
ARRANGEMENTS: His memorial service will be held in the Burgess and Mackey Funeral Home, 201 Main Street, Rockport on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
The burial will be held privately in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
