Robin W. Steadman, 58


Magnolia — Robin W. Steadman, 58, of Magnolia passed away on December 17, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following an extended illness.

Born in Melrose on May 11,1954, he was the son of Dr. H.R. Steadman, Jr. and (late) Luemma Steadman.

A 1971 graduate of Gloucester High School, Robin also attended the flight program at Nathaniel Hawthorne College in Antrim, New Hampshire. He worked many years in the family veterinary business. In most recent years, he worked at Varian as a final assembler. He was a licensed EMT and a member of the Gloucester Elks. He enjoyed landscaping, the local beaches and traveling with his family.

In addition to his wife Mary of 25 years, he is survived by their daughters, Bridget Panniello, wife of Mark Panniello of Ipswich, Emily Steadman of Magnolia and their son Andrew Steadman of Magnolia. A sister, Heather Steadman of Gloucester; two grandsons, Patrick and Drew Panniello of Ipswich and his father, Dr. H.R. Steadman Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He is pre-deceased by his mother, Luemma Steadman and his brother Christopher Steadman.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane Gloucester, MA 01930.
