Gloucester — Mildred Brennan, 91, of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Den Mar Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Rockport.
Born in Gloucester on October 27, 1921, she was the daughter of the late, William and Marion (Wall) Brennan. Mildred was a graduate of Gloucester High School. She had worked for 46 years at the former LePages on the assembly line. She later worked in the children’s section at the Sawyer Free Library.
Mildred was a devote member of Our Lady of Good Voyage Church where she had served as a Communicant and was a member of the Women’s Guild. She was also a lifetime member of the Gloucester Fraternity Club.
She is survived by her brother, Clifford Brennan; many nieces and nephews including devoted niece, Mary Swinson of Gloucester; many great-nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Evelyn Brennan and Priscilla Crawford; four brothers, Henry, Milton, William and Richard Brennan.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church on Friday, March 8 at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
