Gloucester — Sally Earley died peacefully at Kaplan House in Danvers following a struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her many friends from Trinity Congregational Church in Gloucester where she had made her home.
Sally was born in Tallmadge Ohio. She graduated from Ashland College and taught High School in Ohio for a number of years. In 2003, she came to Gloucester where she found the chance to have a new life. She completed an Associates Degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling and worked for Action, Inc. in their shelter programs. Sally was always kind and everyone loved her. She volunteered for her church and for the newly opened Grace Center that serves adults in crisis from Cape Ann. She leaves her beloved son, Matthew Earley from Akron, Ohio and her sister, Karen Cassio from The Villages in Florida.
ARRANGEMENTS: A service for the celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, December 21 at Trinity Congregational Church 70 Middle Street, Gloucester. Memorial gifts can be given to Hospice of the North Shore or Grace Center Inc. PO Box 135 Gloucester MA 01930.
