    Rockport, MA — Genevieve M. (Silva) Wallace, 79, of Rockport, MA, wife of the late Leon “Windy” Wallace, (who was lost at sea in 1988), passed away in the Beverly Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, with her family at her side. She was born in Gloucester, MA, on January 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Mabel (MacLeod) and John Silva. She attended local schools and worked at Tadco Print Shop here in Rockport, up to her retirement. She is survived by her two daughters, Laura, wife of Michael Clay and Lisa, wife of Mark Littlefield; six grandchildren, Molly, Hannah and Adam Clay and Sara, Emma and Eric Littlefield, all of Rockport; sisters-in-law, Norma Silva and Jean Curley, both of Gloucester. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marie Landry, Florence Grover, Madelyn Morash; brothers, Francis “Shorty” Perry, John Silva Jr. and James “Big Jim” Silva, along with many nieces and nephews.

He will be fondly remembered for his charm, quick wit and generous spirit.

    Fort Myers, FL — Sonja L. O'Hearn, 96, went home to God on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at her home, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born in Gothenberg, Sweden on March 6, 1917, to Karl E. and Selma K. (Andersson) Lundberg. The family came to America in 1920, and settled in Rockport, MA, where she graduated from Rockport High School, class of 1934, where she was a "jumping center" on the basketball team, and was voted best dancer in her class. She went on to pursue her career as a beautician and graduated from Lorraine Beauty Academy. She resided and worked in Gloucester as a hairdresser for many years.
