To the editor:
I have found all the bad things about Obamacare to be true.
Remember, “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan?”
I am in the insurance business, and it turns out many of my customers and clients could not keep the plan they had last year. They were told to go to the Health Care Marketplace and pick another one, and it is more expensive.
Hard to believe? You’re not alone. And, seven million people in the U.S. have already lost their insurance.
The original plan in Massachusetts by Mitt Romney worked very well and was a model for any state to follow. If someone needed health insurance, they could see what was available on the Mass. Health Connector and pick it. It would be subsidized or free depending upon your income.
Massachusetts should not have to participate in the Obamacare debacle.
Richard Tisei is running for Congress and he has a great idea: Tisei wants a waiver from Obamacare.
We can “opt out” for the state supporting it legally with the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights. The State’s Rights Amendment is for states to make up their own laws not provided for already in the Constitution.
Way to go, Richard! An original idea — that’s refreshing.
