To the editor:
Who knew Studs Terkel wrote a book recognizing all us working-class folks?
The Rockport High School drama group portrayed hilarious and poignant vignettes of firemen, dispatchers, waitresses, housewives, truck drivers, UPS delivery men and the many others who work day in and day out and keep on going.
The production was a moving tribute to all workers. The music and acting and singing and dancing were over the top! The players received a standing ovation from at the end, which was well deserved.
