To the editor:
This is a copy of an open letter I have sent to the Board of Selectmen:
I believe the moderator at our Town Meeting on April 9 almost could be said to have slimed his position.
My jaw dropped on more than one occasion as he disrespected Toby Arsenian, tried to add levity with accents of peoples' voices, and used what I would call off-color jokes.
His lack of professionalism needs to be reckoned with, and I would expect an apology from him to those of us who attended — most especially to Toby, who does his utmost to keep us all informed in ways we don't have time to do.
It was quite hurtful — even shocking at times — and I am not a prude.
