To the editor:
After a hard day of work on hot day, I figured I would cool off and go down to Good Harbor Beach, one of our beautiful beaches and a cherished town resource.
I was sad to find it filled not with people, but with a plethora of trash.
I can't believe that, in this day and age that people, would think it is OK to just walk away from a pile of trash.
What is this, 1970? Do we have to run that commercial of the crying Indian at the entrances of our beaches?
Maybe if the town gets the officer who drives around on that dumb ATV to enforce the littering law, we might as one local says "stem the tide."
