Letter: Patricia Brown is best choice for Rockport

To the editor:

I have worked faithfully for over 20 years for the town of Rockport. I truly care for the people I serve on a daily basis.

Our local election is one of four elections this year. The amount of work and expertise required to run these elections is crucial to all of us.

Patricia Brown has had six years of experience as assistant town clerk and is now our town clerk after being appointed when Fred Frithsen retired. She ran the primary in March, which required abiding by many laws, extra hours of dedicated work, and attending to numerous details that can only be handled with a lot of experience.

This is only one facet of a complex and gratifying job.

I hope you will vote for the knowledge, experience and dedication that encompass Patricia Brown.
