To the editor:
So, NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco has refused U.S. Sen. John Kerry's and others' call to commission a new cod assessment, given the concerns about the reliability of the latest data?
Hey, why begin a new assessment when you've finally contrived the one you want?
The company line was that it couldn't be ready in time to determine the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) for 2012. That is true, but if it were already under way, wouldn't it be ready sooner? If we are really all in "crisis" mode, isn't sooner better than later? So just what kind of "crisis" are we actually in?
I believe it's a "fabricrisis"!
When harsh reality interferes with your agenda, you need a "fabricrisis."
Are real facts, figures, and formulas presenting an obstacle to your dreams and schemes? You need "fabricrisis."
So you don't forget, order now before you're cover's blown and it's too late!
Ah, fabricrisis. It's fabulous!
