Arrests

A Beverly man and a Gloucester man were arrested on drug charges Monday at 10:38 p.m. following a traffic stop at Grant Circle.

Anthony Pella, 27, of 32 Railroad Ave., Beverly, was charged with driving with a revoked license, failure to yield at an intersection, speeding and possession of heroin.

Aaron Patrician, 20, of 109 Bass Ave., was charged with possession of heroin and on an outstanding warrant.

Police pulled over a car driven by Pella with three passengers after observing it drive 45 mph into Grant Circle, a 25 mph zone, and almost collide with a car already in the rotary, according to the police report.

Pella was arrested after officers learned his license had been revoked and Patrician was arrested on the outstanding warrant.

During a search after booking at the police station, officers said they found small bags of a substance believed to be heroin inside the buttocks of both Pella and Patrician.

Joycelynn Rowe, 30, of 22 Shepherd St., Gloucester was arrested Monday at 11:11 on two outstanding warrants.

A 10-year-old from Portuguese Hill was arrested after officers said they observed him walking down Prospect Street yesterday at 1:05 a.m. carrying a 12-pack of beer, a cordless drill, and a bag of bannister poles.

Police charged the boy with underage transport of alcohol and receiving stolen property.

The boy dropped the items he was carrying when he saw police, was uncooperative and would not say where he obtained them, according to the police report. He was also carrying a set of car keys he could not account for.

Incidents

A caller at 4:04 p.m. Monday told police that someone had stolen some of his clothes. A woman contacted by officers said the clothes were locked in the house of someone who would not be home until Wednesday.

A Salem boater at 7 p.m. Monday told police that a Gloucester man trying to cut the line of boats waiting to be launched at the Dun Fudgin' Landing had hit his boat and scraped the paint on the port side. No charges were filed
