Gas prices in Massachusetts plummet 15 cents

BOSTON (AP) — Gas prices in Massachusetts have plummeted another 15 cents in the past week to the lowest level in almost six months.

AAA Southern New England reported yesterday that a gallon of self-serve, regular gasoline is averaging $3.32, the lowest price since mid-April.

The price in Massachusetts is 18 cents below the national average, but still considerably higher than the average of $2.67 a gallon at the same time a year ago.
