Christine and Mel George

Mel and Christine George of Rockport will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on Dec. 15.. Mel and Christine have two children, Heather (George) Stewart, married to Ed Stewart and Gregory George, married to wife Terry, both living.in Rockport.. They also have four grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob, Mackenzie and Allison.

Mel and Christine were both born and have always lived in Rockport.

Mel is the foreman of the local transfer station a.k.a. "the dump" and Christine is the Post Master of Lynnfield, currently working in Gloucester.

They celebrated their anniversary recently with a 3-week long trip to Hawaii which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Mel and Christine look forward to retirement (someday) and more grandchildren.
