Carolyn and Ellis Cooper of Rockport are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole Gala Cooper to Jeffrey Michael Lopes, son of Diane and Jeff Lopes, also of Rockport.
Nicole is a graduate of Rockport High School and received her B.A. in English from Northeastern University.
Jeffrey is a graduate of Rockport High School and is employed as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft in Beverly.
The couple met at Rockport High School while both were frequent actors in Drama Club productions and in Community Theater. An Autumn 2009 wedding in Boston is planned.
