Barry and Carol Edwards of Seabrook, N.H. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyson Edwards, to Michael Roberts, son of Paul and JoAnn Roberts of Kittery Point, Maine.
Alyson is a 1999 graduate of Triton Regional High School. She received her B.A. in Communication and her M.Ed. in Elementary Education with a certification to teach English as a Second Language from The University of New Hampshire. Alyson currently works in curriculum development in Washington, D.C. for Imagine Schools, a non-profit Charter School Organization.
Michael is a 1999 graduate of R.W. Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine. He received his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Maine, and is enrolled part-time at The Johns Hopkins University, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C. He is currently employed at SAIS and works in development.
Michael and Alyson reside in Washington, D.C. and are planning their wedding to take place on the New England Seacoast in the fall of 2009.
