Arrests

r Police responded to Washington Street at 6:15 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.

They arrested Archibald Macleod, 25, of 124R Centennial Ave., on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

r Police received a report yesterday at 12:13 a.m. of a disturbance caused by several young people congregating in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven convenience store on Maplewood Avenue.

Arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property were William Chadwick, 20, of 35 East Main St., and Pedro Marnoto, 19, of 288 Main St.

r Police responded to a Washington Street residence yesterday at 12:31 a.m. after receiving a report of an intruder.

John Wagner, 38, of 16 Pearl St., was arrested on charges of trespassing and assault and battery on a police officer.

No other details were available yesterday.

r Daniel O'Brien, 43, of 4 Shepherd St., Gloucester, was arrested yesterday at 1:13 a.m. after police responded to Shepherd Street after receiving a report about a possible domestic dispute.

O'Brien faces charges of two counts of domestic assault and battery and one count of intimidation of a witness.

Incident

r Police received a report of a possible fight in the parking lot of Shaw's supermarket on Railroad Avenue on Monday at 11:05 p.m. Officers spoke to those involved.

Fire log

Firefighters responded to a car fire Elm Street yesterday at 3:39 a.m. The fire was put out.
