MANCHESTER — An ambulance responded to The Plains on Old Essex Road at 2:30 p.m. Monday and transported a woman to Beverly Hospital.
r Police and rescuers responded to Bridge Street at 2:49 p.m. Monday after receiving a report that a woman's hand was stuck in a device used to stretch canvases for painting. The woman's hand was freed from the machine and she was not taken to the hospital.
