MANCHESTER — Police received a report of a coyote sighting Thursday at 10:10 a.m. on Ashland Avenue. Officers did not find any sign of an animal in the area.

r Police received a report Thursday at 10:14 a.m. of a mp3 player and a watch being stolen from a 13-year-old boy's backpack at Tuck's Point. The incident is under investigation.

r Police received a report from Gloucester police of a green GMC truck being driven erratically Thursday at 11:25 a.m. on Route 127. Officers did not find a vehicle matching the description.

r An ambulance responded to Old Essex Road at 10:01 a.m. Thursday and transported a woman to Beverly Hospital.

r An ambulance responded to Brook Street at 5:31 p.m. Thursday and transported a 16-year-old girl to Beverly Hospital with a possible broken ankle.

r An ambulance responded to Union Street at 7:07 p.m. Thursday and transported a man complaining of chest pains to Beverly Hospital.

r An ambulance responded to Arbella Street at 8:44 p.m. Thursday and transported a woman who had fallen to Beverly Hospital.
