Manchester Essex Regional High School scholarship awards

MANCHESTER - The Class of 2009 that graduated from Manchester Essex High School Friday night also received more than $100,000 in scholarships, through the generosity of various community organizations and individual families.

The scholarship award winners were:

The first group of scholarships is presented from monies under the management of the Manchester Education Fund established in 1974 to support educational opportunities for the children of our community:

The Donald A. Towle Scholarship — Daniel Kelly.

The Manchester Knights of Columbus, Masconomo Council #1232 Scholarships — Spencer Lange, Anna Saco.

The Timothy C. Averill Debate Education Fund Scholarships — Hannah Dumont, Luke Elder, Max Elder and Jacob McIntosh.

The Richard L. Coburn Memorial Scholarship — Jordan Biggar.

The Herbert S. Schlegel Scholarship — Nicholas Pelligrini.

The Sally Weld Book Stipend — Stephanie Smith.

The Sally Weld Memorial Scholarships — Michael Dodge, Annelise Eaton, Luke Elder, Hannah Gurley, Eric Kimball, Caroline Martin, Gabrielle Migdalski, Anne Osborne, Dora Posfai and Anna Saco.

The Bernard and Eleanor Mosher Scholarship — Emily Needham.

The Friends of the Manchester Education Fund Scholarship — Timothy Jordan, Elsa Keefe, Sylvan LaChance, Jacob McIntosh, Emily Randall.

The Virginia MacDonald Scholarships — Charlotte Cheshire.

The William Saltonstall Scholarship — Jeffrey Kimball.

The Foster Ball Scholarship — Eliza Blatchford.

The Abbie Cragg Eaton Memorial Scholarship — Annelise Eaton.

The Bruce and Alice Magoon Memorial Scholarships — Jordan Berger, Jannat Shejuty.

The Nathaniel C. Andrews Scholarship — Timothy Jordan.

The Ann Jean Donelan Memorial Scholarship — Andrew Loy.

The Ruth B. MacDonald Memorial Scholarship — Emily Hammond.

The Zachary Rauseo Memorial Scholarship — Gabrielle Migdalski.

The Norman P. Ramos Scholarship — Ross Frazier.

The Bernice Fiahlo Memorial Scholarship — Philip Kobus.

The Benjamin Carr Grayden Scholarship — Megan Kackley.

The Jennie P. Brown Memorial Scholarship — Anna Saco.

The Robert K. Mulloy Scholarship Award — Colin Broughton Rosso.

The Bernice Baker Lipsett Memorial Scholarship — Colin Broughton Rosso.

The Beverly A. Doane Memorial Scholarships — Timothy Jordan, Jennifer LaGrassa and Anna Saco.

The Manchester Men's Recreation Association along with the Ralph Kershaw Tournament of Friends Committee — Ralph Kershaw Memorial Scholarships — Kyle Donovan, Lee Stroman.

In addition to the scholarships awarded through the Manchester Education Fund there are a number of families, community groups and organizations that also annually give scholarships to graduates of Manchester Essex Regional High School.

Those winners are:

Manchester Police Association Scholarship — Anthony Cerullo.

The Marie G. Dennett Foundation Scholarships — Chandler Aldrich, Brianna DiPietro, Max Elder, Ysee Gedeon, Lauren Green, Hannah Gurley, Daniel Kamins, Caroline Martin, Gabrielle Migdalski, Emily Perrigo, Dora Posfai, Ali Sandler, Julian Morris-Haaker, Devin Booth and Nicholas Pelligrini.
