Haselgard, who will be entering his sophmore year this fall, is a business finance major and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society. rrr Caroline MacLeod, a junior at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., has been named to the 2008 spring semester dean's list. rrr Benjamin Nicholas Swan, son of Sharon and Joel Swan of Gloucester, graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in marine transportation. He also was commissioned as an ensign in the Merchant Marine Reserves in a ceremony aboard the USS Constitution. He has accepted a position working in New York City harbor. rrr The following have been named to the fourth quarter honor roll at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody: Molly Amero, Alexandra Gallant, Andiana Sidell, Mary Curran, Kevin Fini, Joseph Flaherty and Colby Polisson-Enslow. rrr J. C. Gray Sawyer (formerly Jennifer Tibbo) has recently been appointed instructional design consultant to the Office of Information Technology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her MFA in studio arts in 2007 from the University of Massachusetts and has taught photography, digital video and Web development at the high school, college and adult community levels. For the past several years she has been supporting faculty and staff in the use of digital video, imaging and presentation technologies for teaching, research, distance instruction and networking. In addition, she has production expertise in videography, photography (digital and dark room), new media technologies, as well as Web development and design for which she runs a freelance business — JCGray Media. A graduate of Gloucester High School, she is the daughter of Donald and Carol Sawyer of Gloucester. rrr John Phillip Hitchcock has graduated from Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, Tenn. He plans to study mass communication at a local area college. He is the son of Eloise Ramsey Hitchcock and John Hitchcock, the grandson of Marilyn and Phillip Ramsey of Lexington S.C., and the great-grandson of May Munroe of Gloucester.
