Cape Ann parades, events today:
Manchester: Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. on Vine Street; parade returns to Vine via Norwood Avenue, Central Street, Pine Street, Pleasant Street, and School Street. Festivities following parade at Coach Ed Field, 11 a.m., with skydiving at noon.
Rockport: Fireman's Parade, 6 p.m., starting from Rockport Public School complex on Jerden's Lane. Parade follows route along South Street to Dock Square, then up Main Street to Beach Street to the bandstand near Back Beach. Followed by annual bonfire after 8:30 p.m.
Magnolia: First Fourth of July parade, 10 a.m.
Lanesville: Horribles Parade, 6:30 p.m.
